 The Ties That Bind: A Railway Heritage Tour of Stratford 
In 1870, The Grand Trunk Railway relocated the machine shops from Toronto to Stratford. Over 1,000 skilled technical railway employees moved to Stratford. Almolst overnight it transformed from an agricultural-based country village into the hi-tech centre for the province. The craftsmen were highly accomplished and better paid than most which led them to create one of the loveliest cities in southern Ontario.  Amish Tour 
A fantastic opportunity to visit Amish country. The first stop will be at The Perth County Welcome Centre and Artisan Market where you will get to view many crafts made by local Artists. Then it's off to Millbank to Quilts Galore. The name says it all, the quilts are beautifully made and without the aid of electricity. Anna Mae's will be the next stop where you will enjoy a delightful Amish meal which includes dessert and a beverage. Millbank Family Furniture offers you the opportunity to view Amish made furniture which you can buy or just enjoy looking at ; but be prepared to be surprised it's not all that they sell. Next stop is the harness maker. Mr. Streicher will show you the talent of harness making and the work that goes into it. Come join us for a day that's next door but feels like a million miles away.
